  • Diverse Fatherhood

    Every Tuesday

    5:00pm - 6:30pm

    Diverse Fatherhood is a program intended for fathers, grandfathers, and caregivers to gather and chat about fatherhood. The program will be led by our Coordinator. Every week, there will be time to chat and socialize while also discussing topics to recognize the diversity in parenting styles, as well as exploring diverse perspectives and experiences of fatherhood across cultures and backgrounds, fostering inclusivity and understanding among fathers.

    No registration required. Childminding will be provided

  • Mom and Baby Yoga

    Every Monday, March 03- April 14 1:00-2:30PM

    Every Thursday, March 06-April 17 10:00-11:30AM

    We are excited to offer Mom & Baby Yoga classes with Karmaburn Yoga ! These sessions provide a wonderful opportunity for mothers to bond with their babies ( 6 weeks to 8-10 months) while enjoying the numerous benefits of yoga.

    Reduce Postpartum Depression: Shared activities with your baby can help lower the risk of postpartum depression and ease some forms of birth trauma.

    Regain Pre-pregnancy Fitness: Yoga exercises help moms get back into shape without the need for a babysitter.

    Soothing Baby: The gentle movements and massages provide a calming experience for the baby.

    What to Expect in a Baby Yoga Class: What to Bring:

    Baby Yoga/Baby Massage - A yoga mat ( if you do not have one we can supply you with one)

    Mom’s Warm-up - Blanket for your baby to lie on (optional)

    Yoga Exercises -Your baby’s favourite toy

    Centre on the go is our east centre first outreach drop-in program. In collaboration with Saskatoon Public Libraries we are bringing our centre to your nearest library! Join us to explore fun activities that foster your child’s development!

  • Peek A Book: Storytime

    Join our drop-in storytime! Benefits of this will give children a peek into other worlds through storytelling. The purpose of our storytelling is to inspire and evoke big dreams.It will develop children’s emotional and social intelligence. It will foster creativity and imagination as children engage with the characters and plot of the stories. Along with the love for reading!

Navigating Parenting

March 14-April 21, 2025

9:30-11:30AM

Navigating Parenting is a program that uses art to explore parental anger, trauma, parenting strategies, self-care, attachment, positive discipline, and more. It focuses on rebuilding and strengthening relationships between parents and children. It also focuses on the importance of connection and communication. This program is for all parents, regardless of the child’s age, or whether the child is in the parent’s care.

Child-minding and refreshments will be offered as well!

  • Bringing Traditions Home

    Bringing Traditions Home is a 9 weeks program offered through the BC Aboriginal Child Care Society. It is a traditional Aboriginal parenting program designed upon the 8 traditional sacred values and teachings. During the program, the families will be learning traditional values and cultural practices to help parents, grandparents and other family caregivers to raise healthy children in today’s urban Canadian context. We will have local knowledge keeper who will share their knowledge and cultural teachings to the program.

    Eensy Weensy is a program developed by Foundations Learning. It is for parents and caregivers with babies and toddlers between 0-3 years of age. It focuses on supporting early literacy and social emotional development through play and songs.
